The Notes of Jane Heap
Jane Heap was born in Kansas and later traveled to Paris, where she met and worked with Gurdjieff. She was instrumental in introducing many people to the Work by means of her "salons." She eventually settled in London where she worked tirelessly to transmit the teaching until her death in 1964. In America and Europe she was a key figure in promoting modern artists and writers. This collection of notes reads like a personal journal which she used in guiding groups. There is much material to ponder here.
