Composer Mitchell Rudzinski (1922–2001) was devoted to the Gurdjieff/de Hartmann music and the art of improvisation. His unique combination of rigor and sensitivity influenced a whole generation of Movements musicians. This recording offers enduring evidence of the qualities inherent in Mitchell's playing, and in the man himself. Includes piano and violin improvisations as well as selections from Gurdjieff/de Hartmann.
