This is the first of two collaborations between six professional musicians from two long-established Gurdjieff groups:  the Rochester Folk Art Guild and The Gurdjieff Foundation of Paris.  The music is arranged for two guitars, flute, oboe, bassoon, and piano.   The musicians are exploring the phenomenon of working together with attention and opening to another influence in the process of  preparing the pieces. Most of the pieces are from the folkloric settings and in themselves have the echo of something deep and lasting.  The performance is from two live concerts.
