works & conversations #23, "Evidence"

This issue from October, 2011 features several artists and focuses on the question of why extraordinary people and their works are frequently never discovered. About a third of the pages are dedicated to Paul Reynard. In addition to numerous photographs of Paul and his art are an interview with him by Jacob Needleman, first published in Material for Thought, and an interview by Richard Whittaker with artist Jane Rosen, a long time friend and colleague of Paul’s, centered on her relationship with him.

ABOUT works & conversations: In the early 1990s, Richard Whittaker set out to explore artists' experiences and reflections about their own art making. What came from that is a series of deeply thoughtful interviews with a wide range of artists, and a magazine called works & conversations
